Your Agreement With Us

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PawTrack: Pet Care Log ("PawTrack," "the App," "we," "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

PawTrack is developed and operated by Rushabh Soni ("Developer"). These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and the Developer.

Description of Service

PawTrack is a pet care companion app that helps you track daily activities, health records, expenses, and milestones for your pets. Features include activity logging, reminders, GPS walk tracking, expense tracking, a pet diary, badges and XP, PDF health reports, and family sharing through iCloud.

The App is designed as a personal wellness and organization tool. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your pet's health needs.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PawTrack. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

Your Account and Data

PawTrack does not require account creation. All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework, with optional iCloud sync if enabled on your device.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and iCloud account. We do not have access to your data and cannot recover it if lost. We recommend keeping regular device backups through iCloud or your computer.

Subscriptions and Payments

PawTrack offers both free and premium features. Premium features are available through auto-renewable subscriptions managed entirely by Apple through the App Store.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly) automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• The Lifetime plan is a one-time, non-recurring purchase that grants permanent access to all premium features.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. The Developer cannot issue refunds directly.
• Prices may change. We will notify you in advance of any price increases, and your continued subscription after the change constitutes acceptance.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use PawTrack only for its intended purpose of personal pet care tracking. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems.
• Distribute, sublicense, or resell the App or any part of it.
• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App.

Intellectual Property

PawTrack, including its design, code, graphics, badge artwork, icons, and text content, is the intellectual property of Rushabh Soni and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your pet data, photos, diary entries, and any content you create within the App remains yours. We claim no ownership over your personal content.

Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our full Privacy Policy is available at rushabhjsoni.github.io/pawtrack-privacy. By using PawTrack, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

The short version: we collect zero personal data. Everything stays on your device. The only external service is TelemetryDeck for anonymous, privacy-first usage analytics.

Device Permissions

PawTrack may request access to certain device features. All permissions are optional, and the App functions without granting them (some features will be limited).

• Location: Used for GPS walk tracking. Data stays on your device.
• Photos: Used for adding pet photos and diary entries. Photos are stored locally.
• Notifications: Used for care reminders and activity nudges.
• Calendar: Used for scheduling vet appointments and reminders.

You can revoke any permission at any time through your device's Settings.

Disclaimers

PawTrack is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Pet health insights, care tips, and badges within the App are for informational and motivational purposes only and do not constitute veterinary advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rushabh Soni shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rushabh Soni from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of PawTrack after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

For significant changes, we will provide notice through the App or other appropriate means.

Termination

You may stop using PawTrack at any time by deleting the App from your device. If you have an active subscription, remember to cancel it through Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions to avoid future charges.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms are violated, though given the App's local-first design, this would only apply in exceptional circumstances.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Apple-Specific Terms

These terms are between you and Rushabh Soni, not Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for PawTrack. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to applicable warranties, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation.

Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
